Grunt Style Beer Review- IV

Grunt Style Opinion: It’s just good fucking beer! If I could only drink one beer for the rest of my life, it would be Yuengling.
This week with Halloween upon us and the holidays coming up, we decided to go seasonal with the flavor of the season, Pumpkin.
All Hallows Eve is a time the year when spirits can make contact with the physical world, and when magic is most potent. It is thought that we harness this magic to brew our powerful pumpkin ale. Not so, but it is with great respect to the magic or their trade that our brewers produce this fine beer. Take a whiff of this complex ale and your journey has just begun. At first sip, a magical spell will bewitch your taste buds, yet another victim enraptured to the Pumking.
Grunt Style Opinion: This is a very tasty not over powering beer that just feels right for this time of year. Southern Tier kills it on the flavor without going aver the top with sweetness that is seen from some other pumpkin ales.
Out of Your Gourd Pumpkin Porter is dark chestnut brown in color and is made with pureed pumpkin. Cinnamon, nutmeg and ginger are added to the whirlpool and maple syrup is added during fermentation. This full-bodied, rich roasty porter makes you want to eat turkey and watch football, or build a bonfire.
Grunt Style Opinion: This is a good porter with just a hint of pumpkin that drinks easy and tastes good. I could personally do without the ginger, but overall this is a good beer. This is one that I will most likely have to go with turkey and watching Americas team (Go Cowboys) here in the coming weeks.
This sessionable pumpkin ale is brewed with fresh pumpkin and seasonal spices.
Malt and hops accented with roasted pumpkin and spices of the season. A subtle hint of vanilla and honey. Punk’n is a wonderful compliment to foods with nutmeg, cinnamon, and clove flavors. Try it with roasted turkey, squash or pumpkin ravioli, peach cobbler, or pumpkin cheesecake.
Grunt Style Opinion: A different take on typical pumpkin. The roasting process lends a very subtle and not too sweet flavor to this beer that is intriguing. I am not typically a fan of wheat beers, but his is one that I actually enjoy.

Grunt Style Opinion: Not a fan. This is an overly sweet, sour apple shandy with pumpkin and cinnamon. While I typically enjoy hard ciders this one misses my mark. It could have been better if it were more pumpkin less apple, however that combo would probably not work either.
