29 people were injured last night after an explosion rocked New York City’s Chelsea neighborhood. Police are currently hunting for answers as to what caused the explosion.

The mayor of New York City, Bill de Blasio, has called the incident, “an intentional act,” during a formal statement. However, “there’s no specific and credible threat against New York City at this time from any terror organization,” he said.

Police are currently looking at security footage of a man nearby where the explosion occurred, to determine if they were related to the incident. There was also a suspicious device found close by, which appears to be a pressure cooker with wiring, connected by duct tape to a cellphone. There was also a piece of paper with writing nearby. No word yet from police on what was inside the pressure cooker, but it resembles the type of device that was used during the Boston Marathon explosions.

The explosion was also caught on video via twitter sources:

Presidential candidate Donald Trump was quick to announce the incident as a “bombing,” in a speech, even before law enforcement officials had released a public confirmation of the incident. Hillary Clinton, in an interview with press, called for the support of first responders and investigators, and said she would have more to say after “the facts” had been  released (although she did similarly call the incident a “bombing”).

Chelsea is widely regarded as a neighborhood that is very inclusive to the LGBT community. One of the top fashion schools in New York, FIT, is also located just blocks from the site of the explosion.
