A Veteran’s Cemetary in Texas is set to lay to rest an Army Veteran and Marine Corps Veteran tomorrow, November 10th two hours apart. When the cemetery staff could not find any family or friends of the deceased, they reached out to KZTV10 News to help get the word out so that Mr. Dudley and Mr. Ashley can be laid to rest surrounded by brothers and sisters in arms.

PLEASE SHARE THIS FAR AND WIDE ESPECIALLY WITH PATRIOT GUARD RIDER CHAPTERS IN THE AREA!

See both announcements below

    1. Thank you sir for your service. My father was a Vietnam vet. He passed when I was 6 from agent orange related lymphoma. Didn’t get a chance to know him very well since he passed when I was so young. I just need to say thank you. I didn’t get to tell him that. For Sydney Harold Mason

    1. My sister is buried there (February 2016). It’s great to have anyone available to be there, I can with 100% certainty say they were not buried alone. There is a veterans group there that attend all burials whether there be any family or friends or not. They attend them all, respectfully, loving, and quietly. When we buried our sister they did not interfere but they were there. In my pictures I count more than 20. It would have been great if this post reached me prior, I would have attended, it’s only a 115 minute drive for me.
God Bless their souls, thank you for your service.

  2. Have you contacted Army’s W.T.F. Facebook page? They are amazing at fast tasking Army Veterans, active, reserve & guard.

I am sure you contacted the local chaper of the Marine Corps League .

Also check with the Texas Patroit Guard

Wish my husband and I could drive that far. We are in Indiana.

  3. Contact the Patriot Guard in your area. The funera home should know how to get ahold of them. Thats what they do is ride and bury our fellow soldiers. I should know, they did it for my husband n Bryan, Texas.

  5. Although I am not a veteran, I would gladly go and honor someone who served our country. Please sunscribe to your newsletter and I will gladly attend a veteran’s funeral in the N Texas area. As a US citizen, it is the very least I can do.

  6. Tonight, I heard this from a friend in Corpus:
“I wanted you to know that I heard on the news that 400 people attended the funerals of those service men. They had a military send off.”
    Grateful!
