McDonald’s to Donald Trump: “We Want Obama Back”

McDonald’s twitter lit up this morning with a message to President Trump:

The tweet, which was later removed, was pinned to the top of the feed for several minutes. It had hundreds of likes and retweets before it was finally taken down.
Some were quick to jump to conclusions regarding the message:

McDonald’s claimed that the tweet was a result of a security breach with the account and that they are currently investigating the incident.
Twitter notified us that our account was compromised. We deleted the tweet, secured our account and are now investigating this.

But not everyone was convinced that they were “hacked.”
