Basic Training Story #4701

So there I was at RTC Great Lakes (Great mistakes) we were about two weeks from graduation. I was on watch on the quarterdeck so I had missed a class. Me being the dumb young recruit I am approaching my Chief RDC Chief D and ask “Chief, do I need to make up the class I missed.”
Chief looks at me blinks a few times then proceeds to say this “Look at my face, guy, if you can imagine a death for you to match this face what would it be, guy?”
To which I responded “a slow painful one Chief?”
“Yes, guy, first I would take and cut off all your skin, then I would take one of those cleaning bottles and squirt running alcohol into all the wounds, then I would take you and drag your ass around the base from the back of my truck, then I would take your recruit lock and key and use it to lock up a cage of hungry lions, then I would unlock the cage and slather you in barbecue sauce and then let the lions devour you for asking dumb questions now get out my face!”
“Aye aye Chief “
Needless to say, I kept my mouth shut the rest of boot camp.
