There is no way around it, you’re going to run into some obstacles this week. No matter how good of a week it is, there will be some difficulties. We’re good though, as long as we’re somewhat expecting it, we can prepare for it. We have no idea where your obstacles may come from, maybe they are at work, maybe they are at home, we’re never entirely quite sure where the stress is going to come from. Last week it could have come from work, and this week it could come from home, either way, we’re going to offer some encouraging words and helpful advice to get you through the day.
Be calm. You’re not going to get anywhere by getting flustered. Realize that this issue will not be the death of you. Life happens in this way, with ups and downs, it’s the rhythm of the world. Before you react, take a moment to take a deep breath and as best you can objectively look at the problem without any emotion. You’ve got this.
Like we said before, knowing is half the battle. Start off today, this Monday, knowing that something totally unpredictable will probably happen. You don’t know what, but your mind is in a “ready” position to attack that obstacle head-on. It’s like Johnny Depp said in Pirates of the Caribbean, “A dishonest man you can always trust to be dishonest” or something like that. In the same way, no matter how great the week looks, having a sense of awareness will prevent you from being blindsided.
The last thing we want to say to you is this; You’ve got this. You’ve run into problems before that seemed insurmountable, yet here you are. You’re still alive, you’ve still got some fight left in you, so take confidence in your past success and forge ahead. That obstacle while seemingly large and troublesome now, won’t seem like that big of a deal in two weeks time. You’ll look back and wonder why you ever worried about it.
