PUBG vs. Fortnite…These two battle royale giants are in the midst of another slugfest on the interwebs and we’ve decided to throw down in favor of one over the other. We really enjoy realism and so we’re going to base our scores off of realism and skill.
Our winner…will be disclosed at the end of the article, so read all the way through.
While some say that Fortnite’s graphics are easier on the eyes and less confusing, we disagree. It’s way too cartoonish. If we wanted to play Donkey Kong or Super Mario on our N64, we would. PUBG’s graphics are much more realistic and simulate the real world much better. The winner on graphics for us is PUBG.
Realism has become a staple for games, with players complaining that games advertised as “realistic” are anything but. So when Fortnite came around we were kind of disappointed. It just doesn’t handle realistically. It handles like a cartoon game with Wile E. Coyote trying to kill the Road Runner. PUBG has built in the dynamic physics of bullet drop and energy dissipation. Fortnite, the technology is there, why’d you phone it in?
Weaponry and vehicles. PUBG gives you the option to really play like you’re in a large scale modern battle. With realistic attachments and real-world weapons, even real-world vehicles, the variety is there, and we’re not walking around like we’re on the set of Fantastic Beasts or any other fairy tale scene. This is a huge bonus to those of us who really appreciate the genuine feel of a game that claims to be “realistic.”
You may disagree with our final assessment, but war and shooting things is not easy. It’s confusing and it takes a lot of skill. In our battle of PUBG vs. Fortnite, we’ve gotta give the crown to Fortnite…
Just kidding it goes to PUBG obviously.
For those of you who don’t want a realistic game with actual body armor and weapons and believable physics, the door is right over there to the left. Come find us in Pochinki!
