Everyone Stand Up…

Everyone stand up. On this day in 1998, there was a pill that revolutionized the world as we know it. It wasn’t a cure for cancer, but rather, a little blue pill that originally was slated to help with heart health. We’re certain that it did indeed help with heart health, both physically and emotionally. On March 27th, 1998, Viagra was approved by the Food and Drug Administration.

Men and women everywhere are both thankful and quite possibly remorseful for their respective parts in the torrid love affair that has many standing up again. Things that we used to not think about, lest we risk years of expensive psychological therapy were shoved into the forefront of our minds. And endless commercials of happy couples that have…had to chance to gain a lot of wisdom during their long illustrious lives were shown doing everything but what the pill was intended for.

Viagra was originally developed to treat pulmonary arterial hypertension or high blood pressure in the lungs. The only problem with the pill is that now it may cause elevated blood pressure due to the vigorous activity one might find themselves participating in for hours on end after taking Viagra. The little blue pill induced some…not so great ideas either. For instance, people that don’t suffer from any of the afflictions Viagra was prescribed to treat, found themselves standing at attention for hours on end, making life extremely…uncomfortable (we think is the best word to describe that situation).

Stand up

Whether you love or hate Viagra, for all the many uses, we are certain that it changed the course of human history. Now we have to knock before we enter grandma and grandpa’s house. We used to rush right in, but then…eh we don’t really wanna talk about that…Congratulations Viagra on your 20th anniversary of giving life back to a certain part of our anatomy.

Know what we're sayin fam?
