Spencer Boyd: Patriotism on the Track
Categories: American Grit Stories
When we first met Spencer, we were taken aback by his demeanor. He’s not boisterous or obnoxious, he shows up and puts in the work. Spencer Boyd is putting patriotism on the track. In a sport that has typically been extremely supportive of our troops and military, Spencer is different, he is special, never passing up the chance to sign autographs or interact with his fans.
When it comes to racing, it’s something he was born for. It’s in his blood, just like the love he has for his country and the love for those that served. He started racing dirt bikes at an early age then kicked up the intensity in go-kart racing, then eventually to Legend Cars and eventually winning several championships and finishing second in the INEX National Points Standings. A track record of success if you will, for the young man putting patriotism at the forefront of his career.
How? For Memorial Day, he made a statement by honoring the men and women who’ve fallen in the United States Marine Corps by running the Marines car. On Independence Day he honored his cousin by representing their battalion. And last but not least, he is sponsored by Grunt Style a veteran owned company, that employs many veterans. The mission is clear. Support those that safeguard us.
Spencer is proof that there are Americans who care, who give a damn about more than just themselves.
It takes all kinds of kinds to make this country great. We have artists, we have scientists, engineers, and doctors. We have teachers and we have fighters, we have entertainers and then we have men like Spencer Boyd while shooting for his goal to one day drive in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series, utilizes his natural talent to support worthwhile causes rather than take a trip down ego lane.
We encourage you to vote for Spencer Boyd as the NASCAR Xfinity Series Most Popular Driver here.
Be sure to catch Spencer in all of his races and support the man that has made supporting the men and women who put their lives on the line as service members, firefighters, police officers and EMT’s his personal mission as he drives the Number 76 Grunt Style Chevrolet!
