BREAKING: Car Bomb Kills 3 American Service Members In Afghanistan

That’s it. I’m done being nice about this. If I’ve said it once I’ve said it ten thousand million billion times. Do not. Do not, do not, do not let your guard down against the Taliban. These peace talks that are taking place are a facade, a joke, a red herring you name it, they’re not real to the Taliban and now we’ve lost lives due to this horseshit.
Three service members killed, one contractor killed and three other service members wounded by a suicide car bomb outside of Bagram Air Field, which the Taliban is taking credit for. Like I said, this “peace shit” isn’t f***ing real to them.
When? When the f*** will we learn that the object of war is to literally kill so many of the enemy that they either lack the will or the personnel to wage war. Yet here they are, blowing themselves up to still get to us while we have “peace talks”

I get it, we’re trying to exit Afghanistan, we’re trying to do a peaceful transition, we’re trying to do all these damn things in a humanitarian way and yet here the enemy is, doing the same thing they’ve always done. Do everything in their power to kill us. In the opinion of this Marine long since gone from active duty, I say we go back to Afghanistan 2001-2002 ROEs. Start dropping bodies again en masse.
I want us to leave Afghanistan just as much as the next guy and had we done the job of killing these shitheads in the first place, maybe we wouldn’t be in the circumstance we find ourselves in today. Mourning the loss of three service members and one civilian contractor, while three more service members tend to their wounds.
Either do the job right the first time or get out of F***town, because I’m tired of watching dudes die from insider attacks and car bombs while we negotiate peace with these assholes.

Theres just to many bro, we would literally be at war forfuckinever…..I’ve long said we will never fully pull out and we shouldn’t, we need a constant presence in the middle east but thats unlikely…..its unfortunate…..its a tough question….do we stretch this thing out for what could be another 20 years or do we pull out and wait for them to attack us again

You could kill all the low level nugs and it wouldn’t matter, Taliban/warlord leadership resides full time in Pakistan, never leaves Pakistan, and the Paki ISI trains, arms, and sends more cannon fodder back into Afghanistan to raise hell. And yet we knew they were doing that and we continued to give Pakistan hundreds of $millions. We designed an unsustainable military for them that costs 60% of their GDP and only exists now (to the extent that it does) because of our cash infusions. The entire misadventure has been an abortion for years, we ought to leave now, there’s no saving it. Of course it’s going to collapse the second we leave, we successfully set them up for failure.
I have long stated that the only solution to this problem in Afghanistan is to wipe out everyone over the age of 7 and start over… it isn’t ever going to stop.. hey wait a minute! Thought Barry ended the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan! SMDH.?!?
They are in it long term…. and they give a damn for anybody. Death is glory to them. They are not interested in winning the war….. they look at infiltration, populating and overtaking growth ti win. Annihilation is all that will work there. They don’t like western influence?…. remove vehicles, fuel supplies and infrastructure. No more planes landing, no more outside food sources. Completely agree and have for years. You can’t play by any set of rules unless all parties follow. If the Taliban rules are “Kill everyone you can for as long as you can”, simply return the favor. Make AFG a killing field with mucho targetted JDAMs, then give a graceful bow and waltz away.

My son is there. Just deployed, on they did he arrives there were another to killings for the unit he just arrived to. Je says it’s the forgotten war. There is nothing political BS and the amenities for the service member are worse then prisoner get.

Anyone living in the United States of America needs to remember that this is the best country in the world, because of men and women who dedicate themselves to protect us. It takes a special person to know the risks and take on the job anyway. I never forget that I have the privilege of living in the United States of America, because someone was a better person than myself and had the guts to sacrifice what others could not. I wish the media would honor the US Military more in order re-educate the growing population in the USA. People dont get it anymore. It shouldn’t be that way.

I am a 65 yo grandmother, mother of ex Army retired due to injuries and wife to marine that served during
1972-77., I am just as angry as you about our men and women sacrificing their lives
when not necessary. We need to bomb them till there is no one left to bomb if we plan on going to war. Politics plays too much in any war and war is a nasty business.
No soldier or Marine goes to a war zone without knowing they were sent there to win. At least that is what should be the objective ” fight to win”. I want our people out of Afghanistan now, before anymore of our troops get killed. Because obviously

I agree. Isis and the rest are war mongers and you can’t trust these kinds of people. Their goal is to conquer the world and they are very patient in this quest of theirs. They have been trying for decades . Our Government was paying them for safe passage of our ships along time ago. They were pirating the seas. Don’t trust these people . They are out for blood and to take over the world and to have Sharia law all over the world . They can’t be trusted. We have to be hard on these kinds of people. They hate the West. I’m in BAF right now as a contractor and work in that ECP, it’s really hitting home for a few of us. And we have all said the same shit, hearts and minds don’t win wars, killing the ideology where it starts does.
We do not ‘war’ like other countries do. As a result no one takes us seriously. Our threats can be perceived as hollow. It also puts Our Soldiers in a tenious position. Extremely sad and disheartening.
Bomb the SHIT out of that shithole country and get the he’ll out of there. Bring them home. We need them more in U S A than ever before. Something’s a brewing.
I was there a couple of years ago when those ass-wipes set off the suicide vest on Disney, near the clamshell. Never trust ’em. I agree that it’s time for us to withdraw, but the only way to withdraw from a war is as the unquestionable victors. We should prepare for withdraw by conducting a major offensive, pulling out all the stops and brutally hammering not only Taliban but other groups like ISIL-K with a shock-and-awe campaign that will make the Gulf War seem like a love tap. Only when they finally get the courage to crawl out of their holes, should they realize we’ve been gone for weeks.
I completely agree. I spent time in Afghanistan myself. Quite a bit of time at BAF. As an Infantry Soldier, with more missions then I care to count, all over the F#cking country, I’ve seen some F#cked up shit, and in a few cases, render aid to these f#cksticks. ROE”s are garbage. We should do a complete “Shock and Ah” as we exit.
